ज़मीने ग़ालिब
ले तो लूँ सोते में उसके पाऊँ का बोसा मगर
ऐसी बातों से वो काफिर बदगुमां हो जायेगा
मेरी ग़ज़ल
राह दिखला कर वो मंज़िल का निशां हो जायेगा
और ज़मीं की हद से उठकर आसमां हो जायेगा
रात का बस एक लम्हा जाविदां हो जायेगा
और तो जो कुछ भी है वो दास्ताँ हो जायेगा
पहले ऐसे वार कर देगा कि बिखरेगा वजूद
फिर न जाने किस लिए आरामे जां हो जायेगा
मैं कुछ ऐसी बात कह दूंगा जो होगी लाजवाब
वो अदा से सर झुका कर बेज़बाँ हो जायेगा
मैं सुकून दिल का क़िस्सा कह के चुप हो जाऊंगा
इक हसीं चेहरा उसे सुन कर धुआं हो जायेगा
उसकी मौजे दिल पे है मेरी रिफ़ाक़त का असर
आज लगता है की वो सैले रवां हो जायेगा
वो तो आकर लौट जायेगा उजाले छोड़ कर
उसे जलवों से मेरा घर ज़ोफ़िशां हो जायेगा
वो सुहैल आजाये तो अरमां के घुन्चे खिल उठें
देख केर उसको जो दिल में है अयाँ हो जायेगा
जाविदां=अविनाशी ,,वजूद= अस्तित्व ,रिफ़ाक़त =संगत,सैले रवां=बाढ़ ,ज़ोफ़िशां=रौशनी बिखेरने वाला ,अयाँ=स्पष्ट

[Show will he the right path and become the symbol of destination
From earth will he rise and become sky]
Raat ka bas aik lamha jaawidan ho jayega
Aor to jo kuch bhi hai wo daastan ho jayega
[The one and single moment of night will become eternal
Rest will be insignificant tale and nothing else]
pehle aise waar kar dega ki bikhre ga wajood
phir na jaane kisliye aaraame jaan ho jayega
[Beloved will attack in such a way that it will split existance of lover
Thereafter unknowingly become the rest and respite of soul]
main kuch aisi baat kehdunga jo hogi lajawaab
wo ada se sar jhukakar bezabaan ho jayega
[I would say something which would be exclusive
And beloned would be dumb founded upon that]
main sukoone dil ka qissa keh ke chup ho jaonga
Ek hasin chehra use sun kar dhuan ho jayega
[I will tell the tale of comfort of my heart and keep mum then
A beautiful face will show worried looks]
uski mauje dil pe hai meri rifaaqat ka asar
Aaj lagta hai ki wo saile rawaan ho jayega
[on the waves of the heart of beloved effect of my company is apparent
This predict that those waves will transform into flood]
wo to aakar laut jayega ujale chhor kar
uske jalwon se mera ghar zaufishan ho jayega
[Leaving herein radiance the beloved will drop in and depart
But due to her grace my abode will scatter light around which it sustains]
wo suhail aajaye to armaan ke gul khilne lagen
Dekh kar usko jo dil men hai ayan ho jayega
[Let that charming one come flowers of passion would bloom
Looking at her all what is there in heart would be clear]
