ग़ुंचाये ना शगुफ्ता को दूर से मत दिखा कि यूँ
बोसे को पूछता हूँ मैं मुंह से मुझे बता कि यूँ

कोशिशे इश्क़ कामयाब होती कभी है क्या कि यूँ
मुझसे लगाओ सीख कर उसका वो पूछना कि यूँ
The love effort gets success how this way
Learning attachment from confirming style she yea
मैंने कहा कि दिल मेरा चाहता है नया हो कुछ
हश्र उठा के नाज़ से कहने लगा बता कि यूँ
I expressed in love my desire to see something new
She created doom, says so, what is before view
अपने लबे खमोश का राब्ता कर ज़बान से
ताकि ज़माना कह उठे फिर से यही ज़रा कि यूँ
Make contact thy silent lips to thy tongue I was imparative
So that people may cry do it in the manner be affirmative
मुझमें उलूहियत रहे तेरी नज़र के फैज़ से
सामने से जहाँ हटा सामने मेरे आ कि यूँ
By the grace of thy eyes things may remain in me Godly
Drift apart the whole system come with that mood to me
सारा सुरूरे दो जहाँ जज़्ब करे मेरा वजूद
जामे बहार साक़िया आज मुझे पिला कि यूँ
My being should adsorb the intoxication of both universes
O! Wine giver serve me wine in the same way more not less
फिर तो मैं पा ही जाऊंगा इश्क़ में मंज़िले मुराद
तेरा इशारा चाहिए मुझको ज़रा बता कि यूँ
I would get in love the desired destination then
I wait for a signal from thee tell me a bit the style again
जो भी थे जाँनिसारे हक़, हक़ का वो हो गए सबक़
हक़ हुआ उनमें जलवागर हक़ जो अदा किया कि यूँ
Those who care not life in the way of God ,they become lesson
Divine luster prevails over them as their duty they never shun
होता नहीं है ग़मगुसार कोई भी मुझको देख कर
तू जो गया है छोड़ कर अये बुते खुशनुमा कि यूँ
No one cares to be my pacifier seeing my state
Thou left me alone in such condition ,my sweet mate
कैसे वो मानता भला मैंने जो ये कहा सुहैल
जिससे छिने मेरा सुकूं मुझसे नज़र मिला कि यूँ

See me in a manner which may deprive me of peace forever

शर्म तुमको मगर नहीं आती

अब बरंगे दिगर नहीं आती,
यार की कुछ खबर नहीं आती.
Now does not come in different color
The news of sweetheart I endear
आजकल लहर ज़ुल्म की तुझपर,
किसलिए फितनागर नहीं आती.
These days the waves of cruelty
We do not find O!Merciless in thee
जब भी बोले वो बेतुकी बोले,
गैर को बात कर नहीं आती.
He speaks and speaks devoid of sense
The rival in love knows not what to say hence
किसके कब्ज़े में आज कल है ख़ुशी,
मेरे घर भूलकर नहीं आती.
In whose possession lies the happiness these days
That even by chance it never comes to me-utter haze
अगले लोगों में थी जो सच्चाई,
वो कहीं अब नज़र नहीं आती.
They have truth in them lived previously
That is not available now disappeared entirely
उसको आते हैं और सारे हुनर,
इक मोहब्बत मगर नहीं आती.
Over almost all skills She has mastery
But she does not know the love only
जिसमे उभरे यकीन का सूरज,
क्यूँ भला वो सहर नहीं आती.
Might rise that sun of sureness whence
Why that dawn never appears-a suspence
धूप उम्मीद की ‘सुहैल’ कभी,
मेरे दरवाज़े पर नहीं आती.
The sunlight of hope does never shine,
Upon my doorsteps for which I pine

बरंगे दिगर= अलग रंग में, फितनागर= आतंकी, सहर= सवेरा.
