कोई मेहरूमे नज़्ज़ारा नहीं है ए मेरे हमदम
बस अपने दिल को रोशन करके उसकी आरज़ू कर ले

सुहैल अब आगया मौसम की जश्ने हा ओ हू कर ले
Began to shine the face of morning's deity and fragrant became surrounding

नासेह =नसीहत करने वाला ,मस्ते नाज़ =सुंदर प्रेमिका ,खू=आदत ,अदू=प्रेम में विरोधी ,मेहरूमे नज़्ज़ारा=देखने से वंचित ,फैज़ =कृपा ,जज़्ब =सोखना, रंगो बू=रंग और खुशबु, मंज़िल के शैदाई=लक्ष्य का अभिलाषी,जुस्तुजू =प्रयत्न ,नाज़ां =गर्व करना ,मसजूद =जिसके सामने सर झुकाया जाय,आबे इश्क़ =प्रेम जल ,वज़ू =नमाज़ के लिए शरीर के कुछ अंग धोना ,अना=अहंकार ,खुद नुमायी=अपना प्रदर्शन करना ,आएना रु =दर्पण जैसा चेहरा ,तश्नगी =प्यास, रिंदे मैखाना =शराब पीने वाले ,मयनोशी =मदिरा पान ,इरफाने सुबु =मदिरा के प्याले का ज्ञान ,निगारे सुबह =सुबह की देवी ,हा ओ हू =मस्ती का कोलाहल
