Toone Qeemat jo kahi apni do aalam hai abhi,
Tu ise aur badha ye to bahut kam hai abhi.

Abhi ummeed hai tu laut ke aa jayega,
Dekh le chashme tamannaye wafa nam hai abhi.
[Still hope that thou would come back to me,
Because longing eyes are wet still.]
Isliye wasl ke vaade pe pareshan haidil,
Jo ishara tera hai yaar vo mubham hai abhi.
[On promise of union heart is restless,
For indications from thee are simply ambiguous.]
Aahini hai sare shoreeda ise kaat sake,
Teri talwar mein itna to nahi dum hai abhi.
[It can’t cut the iron head full of insanity of love,
Reason being ,thy sword has edge but not so sharp.]
Aye Suhail usko meri baat pe kab hoga yaqin,
Kyun taqaza-e-dilo jaan ye paiham hai abhi.
[When my beloved would start believing me?
Asking life and heart repeatedly show lack of trust.]
