That winds being grateful bowed humbly-late that night
हुस्न उस शोख का कुछ ऐसा बढ़ा आख़िरे शब्
चाँद तारों ने भी दिल थाम लिया आख़िरे शब्
The beauty of vivacious flourished and progressed so much -late that night
Even stars and moon became impatient on sight such-late that night
उसने इस तरह मुझे मस्त किया आख़िरे शब्
जामे मये छीन लिया तोड़ दिया आख़िरे शब्
She made me intoxicated very differently -late in the night
Broken wine cup, snatched from me-late that night
फिर वो आया रूखे ताबिन्दा पे अनवार लिए
थक के जब काँप उठे दस्ते दुआ आख़िरे शब्
Then she appeared with the divine light on the countenance
When the weary praying hands trembled to be tense- late that night
आगया अब तो बहोत रंग पे मौसम का मिज़ाज
तू भी अये यार कोई फितना उठा आख़िरे शब्
Now surroundings have become colorful weather is favorable
O! Beloved raise something exciting and wonderful-late that night
फिर हसीं बीते हुए लम्हों का अहसास जगा
फिर मुझे छेड़ मेरी नींद उड़ा आख़िरे शब्
Again remind me the sweet moments remain no more
Again deprive me of sleep pique my heart's core-late that night
अव्वले शब् तो बहोत शोर था हंगामा था
अब ज़रा आयी वही नर्म सदा आख़िरे शब्
There was noise and clamor when at the beginning of the night
Now starts coming familiar soft voice a sign of delight-late that night
वही सूरज बना आलम के लिए वक़्ते सहर
वो जो शोला मेरे पहलु से उठा आख़िरे शब्
That became the sun for the world ultimately
The very blaze that has risen from arms fiery -late that night
ऐसा मंज़र था की दुनिया तहो बाला थी मेरी
हासिल दीद थी वो लग्ज़िशे पा आख़िरे शब्
It was such a sight that looked overthrowing the senses
It was an achievement of eyes that her legs totter thence-late that night
मुस्कुराया वो मुझे देख के इसतरह सुहैल,
आयी कलियों के चिटकने की सदा आख़िरे शब्
She began to smile looking at me very lovingly
The sound of break of buds comes to me merrily-late that night
Aakhire shab= raat ke antim chhan, Dota= do bhago me bati, Tabinda= chamakdaar, Anwaar= Chamak, laghzishe pa = pairon ka ladkhadana, Awwale shab= raat ki shuruaat, Sada= Awaaz, waqte saher= subah ka samai, tahobala= dagmagai hui, Hasil-e-deed= dekhne ke kabil, jaame mai= madira ka pyala, daste dua= dua ka haath
